Every round, kept whole · nothing removed

Why this is here. Three rounds explored seventy-six options in total. Nine survived and moved to the shortlist: 1.1, 1.3, 3.13, 5.2, 8.10, 8.12, 2.10, 2.11 and 2.12. Everything else lives on these pages exactly as it was, with its original reference numbers and anchors intact, so any rejected direction can be pulled back by number without rebuilding it.

Round two: serif and shutter

Four serif faces and a camera shutter as real geometry across the three surviving colourways, plus twelve generated concepts. Contains the surviving serif 5.2.

5.1 – 5.7 · 6.1 – 6.12 · 5.2 selected

Round three: globe

Four globe constructions as real geometry plus twelve generated concepts. Contains the two surviving globe lockups 8.10 and 8.12.

7.1 – 7.4 · 8.1 – 8.12 · 8.10, 8.12 selected

Vector directions

Six wordmark constructions from real glyph outlines. Exponent, Index, Tally, Splice, Leader and Air, each with a stated risk.

1.1 – 1.6 · 1.1, 1.3 selected

Typeface, colour, symbol

Three axes varied independently. Contains the three surviving colourways, so this page is the reference for what 2.10, 2.11 and 2.12 actually are.

2.1 – 2.18 · 2.10, 2.11, 2.12 selected

Generated concepts

Eighteen marks invented from a written brief rather than typeset. Contains the surviving wordmark direction 3.13.

3.1 – 3.18 · 3.13 selected

Material studies

Ten surfaces applied to the Exponent and Tally marks. Superseded entirely: these were built on platinum, and no platinum option survived selection.

4.1 – 4.10
